WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LASER AND AN IPL (FLASHLIGHT)?
Every bundled ``light`` is a ``laser``. However, there are significant differences in bundling, wavelength and heat produced. While an IPL device with a wide light spectrum (multiple wavelengths) works, a laser device emits focused light (a single wavelength). The focused light focuses precisely on the hair root and destroys it with high efficiency. There is no energy lost to the surrounding tissue. With the IPL device, the broad light spectrum is filtered with a crystal, whereby only a part of the released energy can reach the hair roots. The laser can generate greater heat in the hair root, making long-term hair removal more effective.
